At the moment, there's not all that much material available about the movie - either in the UK, or the USA. I've tried to create a list of everything that is currently available, but another place to try is Ebay (or Ebay UK), where you can often find material which has been deleted by the publishers.
If you want an official copy of the movie script, you can get one from http://www.scriptfly.com/screenplays/ (you have to fill in the order form manually - the current cost is $15, plus $5 (US shipping), plus 8.5% California tax if you live there. Shipping is $12 to Alaska, Canada and Hawaii, and $15 to everywhere else.)
Sheet music of the title track is available from several places on the web.
For example, sheetmusicplus.com
(USA), or musicmakers.co.uk
(UK) - note that, bizarrely, although it's available on its own in the USA,
in the UK you have to buy a music book called "Heart And Soul - New Songs
From Ally McBeal featuring Vonda Shepard" to get it...

The book the film is based on. This is the 'basic' paperback edition, but there have been many editions over the years. |

The DVD of the film - this is the UK Region 2 edition, but it's virtually identical to the US edition which supplied the photos in the gallery. The picture and sound quality are fantastic, and the film's as good as ever - the only slight criticism is the lack of extras! |

The UK (PAL) video of the movie - given the lack of quality in any VHS tape compared to the DVD, it's pretty good - and a lot cheaper (or it was - it's currently deleted). If you ant to try and find a copy, the best place to start looking is Blackstar - do a search for the title, then use their 'Videohunt' service to see if they can find one. Other alternatives are Ebay, Yahoo Auctions and Amazon Auctions. Alternatively, if your video recorder can play NTSC tapes, you can get the US version of the video from Amazon US (see below) |

Now this is a bit of a curiosity. Created for US television, it takes Sidney Poitier (still playing Mark who became a schools advisor) from London (the best part is the ten minutes at the beginning when Mark goes back to North Quay, and meets a grown-up Lulu and Judy Geeson) to Chicago. From there, it's basically a retread of the original without the soul. The video has never (as far as I'm aware) been available in the US, and has recently been deleted in the UK (try Blackstar - link above - for a copy) |
Do you know of anything else related to the movie (particularly scripts, posters, photo sets, etc.) which anyone has for sale? If so, e-mail me, and I'll add it to the list. If you have items to sell or trade which you'd like to add to the website, let me know, and I'll sort out a 'classified ads' page.
